Bring fresh undies to PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

A small, underdog horror movie has been racing around the festival circuit and is currently dirtying many a tighty whitey in the frozen north at the Toronto Film Festival. You haven't heard of this movie. I know you haven't because I hadn't until today and since I'm the end all be all of the internet then you haven't heard of it. Of course I'm joking, but info about Paranormal Activity has been kept very much on the down low seeing as they haven't even released a trailer until last night.

Doubtless there will be endless 'Blair Witch' comparisons and people getting their panties in a twist over the now becoming overused style of hand held, home made cinema. But this movie genuinely looks like I'll be sleeping with a teddy bear for the next year or so after I see it.

Apple.com has the fancy new trailer in glorious HD so head on over and check it. But don't watch it alone.

Paranormal Activity will be showing in select cities (mine included, score) at Midnight on September 24th with follow up viewings the following day, and in early October before it goes wide later in the month (hopefully).

Brutal As Hell has a list of cities that won't be sleeping on September 24th so make your calendar, invite your friends over, and stock up on coffee, you're gonna need it.
