I've been a big fan of the classic monster films for a long time and finally seeing some footage for this movie that I've been skeptical about since its announcement has finally allowed me to form an opinion: Official stance on this is "Irrationally excited."

I just love the way it looks. The color looks great, the set design looks fantastic, and everyone looks awesome, especially Anthony Hopkins. The shots in the forest feel like a classic monster film with the light spilling over the ridge, silhouetting the trees and the Wolfman himself. It's the little throw backs like that that are going to make this movie great and I'm sure there are going to be more.
