Gerard Butler is a Law Abiding Citizen

Will LeBlanc Looks like Gerard Butler has gotten himself free of that ridiculous rom-com slump he was in and is getting back into bad ass mode with Gamer, and now with Law Abiding Citizen. Starring opposite Jamie Foxx, Butler plays Clyde Shelton, a man who's wife and daughter are brutally murdered and their killer goes free with Foxx's help.
Naturally he takes matters into his own hands and is "going to bring the whole system down on your head". It feels like Silence of the Lambs with sprinkles of Saw and a dash of Seven, which sounds all well and good, but I don't know if I buy it just yet. It looks well filmed, but it seems very familiar. Aside from that, I feel like the plot elements can all be broken down into Steven Seagal movies and that bodes well for no one.
