Wernor Herzog's Bad Lieutenant
Friday, October 9, 2009 at 5:43PM | Will LeBlanc Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans has been making it's way around the festival circuit for quite some time now and a trailer has finally popped up online. I can't say I think it looks great based off of this new trailer, but there was an older one that changed my mind. I'm posting the newer one because the quaility doesn't look like it was ripped from an 8 year old VHS tape that's been sitting in my musty basement.
Mostly my negativity towards this only stems from my inability to take Nicolas Cage seriously, which will be something that I hopefully get over because everything else about this looks pretty good. I haven't seen a ton of Herzog's work, but I enjoyed Rescue Dawn and am hoping for somethign along the same quality fo work. The man is a legend, and I'd like to see why.
