You know, after I took off my nostalgia goggles and watched this trailer a second time, I'm a little on the fence about it. Of course the animation looks great and it has its funny moments, but it felt like it was missing something. Where is the normal Pixar depth? The Toy Story movies have said amazing things about relationships, and the true meaning of being a friend, but this trailer for 3 just sort of makes it look like an adventure movie involving toys. The jokes feel forced; why would Buzz reset to be Spanish?

I don't know. I feel dirty saying things that aren't astoundingly positive since it's Toy Story 3, the next in one of the most beloved series' of all time, arguably the best in Pixar's library. A little part of me died when I watched this, but maybe you won't feel the same way.
