Universal to reboot Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles

The idea of this franchise finding the screen intrigues me. Almost guaranteed they will be changed dramatically from the books, so hardcore fans don't hold your breath. And with Robert Downey in talks for Lestat, I'm not sure how I feel about Universal's latest endeavor.
