Extra Broody Twilight: Eclipse Poster

Some people fall in love with something and then over days, months or years just seem to get tired of how much they're hearing about it. And then there are TwiHards. These kids just can't get enough Edward and Bella making frown faces at each other and sexy werewolves taking their shirts off. It's all getting a little ridiculous.

Summit Entertainment (Via Coming Soon) decided to keep their endless legion of fans chomping at the bit for more Eclipse mess by dropping the first official poster online today. My question to you loyal fans of the series is have you ever seen any poster be as boring as this one is? At least for New Moon the cheesy character posters had some color to them and a woodsy backdrop. Here though, these just look like hyper photoshopped pictures that you get in middle school. Bland backdrop and expressionless faces put this in the same realm as the Uma Thurman Percy Jackson promo image.

Even the tagline "It all begins...[dramatic fucking pause] With a choice" is ridiculous. You can't really use the word "begin" when you're selling the third part in a series. Plus, Bella has had that choice in front of her for two movies now, so this isn't really the beginning of anything.

I'm fully willing to give this movie a chance, but this image is not selling me as well as the Behind the Scenes clip did. Check out the poster for yourself below.
