The Fantastic Mr. Poster
Friday, September 11, 2009 at 12:36PMMy feelings for The Fantastic Mr. Fox have lived on the fence ever since the announcement of it being made, but recently, after seeing trailers and behind the scenes footage, I'm starting to lean towards the "I'm getting less skeptical and more excited" side of the afore mentioned chain link property divider. Wes Anderson isn't on my list of directors I'd blow if I saw walking the streets, but I generally enjoy his work and fully appreciate his incredibly unique style, which he's somehow managed to carry over into the stop-motion realm while making Mr. Fox.
The movie looks decidely retro and charming in its own Wes Andersony sort of way that will have many a Wes fanboy needing multiple pairs of underwear to get through the film. I'm looking at you Rod. And to get people even more excited, Fox Searchlight dropped this pretty cool new poster which I'm sure will be hanging on more than a few people's bedroom walls by the end of the day.
The Fantastic Mr. Fox comes out November 25th, so mark your calendar.
