Tarantino's Basterds get propaganda'd

I don't watch a whole lot of TV so I don't know exactly how intense the marketing has been for Inglourious Basterds, but I can say that it has not been the background on the myspace log-in page, I haven't been bombarded with banners on every website I go to, and it hasn't been the only thing movie oriented people have been talking to me about. This is good for me because even movie's I'm excited about I don't usually want to hear about, but not so great for Basterds since they'll want everyone talking about their movie.

Well now, poised to premiere in just 2 weeks, we may have gotten the first in what will be a marketing blitz from Basterds in the form of a viral trailer for the German propaganda piece that the films major event centers around. The trailer itself looks pretty terrible in context. It's supposed to be a movie made in the 40's yet it's super crisp, there's big as super text everywhere and all kinds of flashy editing. It's way distracting. But hey, it's black and white and that's all it takes to make a movie look old right? Still, check out this stunningly out of place piece directed by Eli Roth, furthering my dislike of him just a little bit more.

duray-I kind of feel like the same person except more time has gone by.I hate to say that I feel like an adult now. I have to admit I wish I was still 18 , After all , even through the time while I was representing taht wild kid ,I really wasn't.I was just living my life . I was just not making movies at the time.-Leonardo --online replica Rado Classic
