The Lovely Bones teaser teaser

Entertainment Tonight (which I almost referred to as ET but then realized it might be confused for ET: the Extra Terrestrial...which would make for an infinitely more exciting story) will be premiering the trailer for Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones adapted from the Alice Sebold novel tonight. ET (see how it works now because I've already referenced it? WRITING!) let us know that they are NUMBER ONE! because they can edit together an endlessly annoying 30 second reel of movie clips accompanied by a distracting voice over.

If you mute it though you can see some great imagery, as you should expect nothing less from Peter Jackson, whose been showing us unique and inventive visuals ever since he made Bad Taste, in which he has a fist fight with himself. Really, after you watch this clip you should just go watch Bad Taste followed by Dead Alive so that you know where Peter Jackson came from as a film maker.

I'll post a summary of the story tomorrow when the HD version of the trailer inevitably winds up somewhere online.
