Bootleg Extravaganza!
This may fall under the 'Trailers' category, but until some higher resolution, non-bootlegged replacements come in, the story can stay here.
The trusty bloggers John and Rodney over at themovieblog.net have gotten their hands on two rather 'Kick-Ass' clips. See what I did there? This first clip is the SDCC trailer for the upcoming comic book adaptation, Kick-Ass, which we talked about earlier today, and it looks brutal in the best way possible. It's hard to see every last detail, seeing a purple haired Chloe Moretz decimate a room full of dudes a la Equilibrium is about the most awesome thing I've ever seen even through my squinted eyes.
If the rest of the footage is half as good as this, the movie will certainly live up to its title. Thanks to traileraddict.com for the embed <3.
The second bit is a pile of footage from the hotly anticipated Iron Man 2, due out May 10th of next year. Again, I warn that the footage is shot with a damn cell phone camera, but what you're looking at is definitely awesome enough for you to not give a shit. Whiplash makes a full on appearance ready to slice and dice himself up some Stark stew and we finally get to see Scarlett Johanssen in action as Black Widow albeit briefly. It's 6 minutes of yes, really, so take what you can get before the studio takes it down and hits the internet on the knuckles with a ruler.
Chime in about how you think this footage is turning out in the comments below. How ready are you for Iron Man 2 and Kick-Ass?

Even the crappy cam version gives me chills, iron man 2 is gonna be AWESOME! Plus I didn't know Sam Rockwell was in it, and that gets me all juiced up if you know what I mean :)
Awesome, except for the fact that TOOL is in the trailer...what gives? Please tell me they havent started selling out for money.
I think for that event Favreau just put somgs he liked behind the footage because he felt like it. I don't see that winding up in any commercials or anything.
Fuck, too slow to see the Iron Man 2 footage. Guess I'll wait until another website posts it. The "Kick-Ass" trailer looked alright.
