Futurama back on track

After weeks of salary battles and supposed recastings, all the members of the original cast of Futurama have worked out their differences with Fox and signed on to participate in the next season which will air mid 2010.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, after it was announced that recastings were bound to happen:

The show's fans reacted by vetoing any cast changes and petitioning for the original actors to come back.

There's not much more to it than that. I'm excited for the people who were huge fans of the show who will now not be disappointed by a new season. Personally I've never been a raving fan of the show but I do enjoy it and I can't even begin to imagine it with new voices for Fry and Leela. So in the grand sceme of things, well done Fox for bridging the gap and keeping everyone happy.
