Harry Potter 6 First Look on HBO

Painful isn't the right word, but it's the first one that comes to mind. Describing the anticipation myself and most every logical human on this is feeling as we weather this last terrible week before the Half-Blood Prince's release just is not possible. We've seen endless trailers, countless posters, and interview after interview promoting it's long delayed premiere, but it just keeps harder as we start to see snippets of our favorite scenes from what is arguably the best book in the series. And now early reviews are starting to trickle in and they are good. Very good. Devin over at CHUD sums it up in the only bit of any review I have read or will read before I see it at midnight next Tuesday:

Is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince the best Harry Potter film yet? Oh yes. Is it one of the best films of the year? Oh yes again.

And Devin is DAMN critical, so that coming from him (he gave it a 9.5 out of 10 bee tee double-you) is really saying a lot about this film.

HBO last night aired their First Look at Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and it did nothing to ease the horrible pains of anticipation. Don't believe me? See for yourself below. But I have to warn you, if you watch it, please have a spare pair of underwear or some tissues handy. It's that awesome.
