Toy Story 1 and 2 hitting theaters in 3D!

Howdy Folks! You're old pal Woody will be back on the big screen sooner than expected. Disney is releasing a double feature of Toy Story 1 and 2 into theaters for two weeks starting October 2nd. And the real kicker is it's going to be in 3D. I'm personally not as sold on this whole 3D shenanigans, but I'd be willing to see Toy Story that way since it wasn't built to be 3D in the first place. There's not going to be obnoxious things flying out at the screen that were obviously put there to make people go "OH!" a la Beowulf. If I want silly 3D, I'll go to Disney for the Honey, I Shrunk the Audience ride.

I digress. Toy Story 3 is coming on June 18th which is quite a stretch from October so I'm a little shocked at the timing, but maybe they need a few extra sheckles for their budget and are hoping that releasing these two movies will do it for them.
