Ryan Reynolds seeing green

After many months of rumors and speculation, Warner Bros has finally chosen who to wear the glorious tights of the Green Lantern, and it's Mr. Six-pack Ryan Reynolds. Warner Bros tested the water by telling the internet that Bradley Cooper and Justin Timberlake were also up for the role, but apparently the reponse was not great. So Ryan Reynolds it is.
Ryan Reynolds is a good choice. He's got great ability as an actor, handles action pretty well, he's got box office draw, and he's certainly in shape for it. Seriously Ryan, you have too many abs. Let's pump the brakes on the sit-ups.
Really though, Reynolds has proven himself to be a great actor in all capacities and we'll definitely see him bring his personal charm to Hal Jordan. He's been going after his own super hero movie for a long time, and while still attached to Deadpool, Green Lantern will be his first going solo.

Good deal! I agree with the brake-pumping, though. That guy is a douche, like Will Smith in "I Am Legend". Diminishing to the self-esteem...
