I guess if they can produce porn as fast as they can...
...then why not produce the tween porn Twlight Saga movies just as quickly. Comingsoon.net is reporting that Twilight: Eclipse, the THIRD in the saga will film from August 17th until October 31st at Vancouver Film Studios. But when does the second one, Twilight: New Moon, even come out? That would be November 20th of this year, with Eclipse hot on it's heels for June 30, 2010. Meaning that Eclipse will be in the can before New Moon even premieres.
I can't say that I hated Twilight. For what it was it could have been far worse, especially for someone not interested in the series. I have little hope for New Moon knowing that the love triangle is sure to get outright ridiculous and surely to be unbearably portrayed by the young actors. Eclipse is being directed by David Slade, the mad gore-hound that brought us 30 Days of Night, which despite its shortcomings is an entertainingly BRUTAL film. I can only hope that the films mature with the audience and we see some of Slade's (obviously slightly toned down) brutality shine through.
This is just my humble observation, but shouldn't they let one movie come out, and then let the marketing blitz for that one die out BEFORE releasing the follow up? I'm no marketing expert, but I think that maybe they're going to lose some revenue on whatever ridiculous New Moon cross marketing they're going to do.
And check out that new book cover. Wretch!
