TOY STORY 3 TRAILER PREMIERS!

For me, the most exciting news coming out of the Amsterdam Cinema Expo has not been the overwhelming first impressions of James Cameron's upcoming 3D sci-fi action blow-out Avatar, which I'm sort of already sick of hearing about. Finish the movie and show me a trailer already. I digress. No, the real exciting news out of Amsterdam this week has been that a full trailer was shown for what will surely be the highest grossing computer generated picture of all time, Toy Story 3.

I would sacrifice the next year of my life if I could just fast forward to June 18th of next year and see this movie. Having said that, the movie is sure to disappoint, because that's my luck really. In all seriousness, Toy Story 3 is set to rake in huge amounts of money not only from the people who originally loved the movies and are now old enough to drive themselves to the theater for multiple screenings, but also from the new generatioin of kids being introduced to the originals as we speak. Thankfully Pixar doesn't really give a shit about your money, otherwise they would have released a much more half-assed version of this movie years ago....although, they will kindly take what I'm guessing will be close to half a billion of our hard earned beaver pelts.

Also premiering was a trailer for Robert Zemeskis' mo-cap adaptation of the classic 'A Christmas Carol'. I'm not as excited for this, but I love Zemeckis and love Jim Carrey so I'll surely be oozing fan boy juice once I see the trailer.

Keep an eye on the site for the trailers as soon as they hit the web.
