From Fight Club to FACEBOOK

You read that right. Looming on the horizon is a movie about the ultra popular, quiz machine, stalker paradise Facebook. More accurately about the creation of it. Already hard at work on the script is Aaron Sorkin, the mastermind who brought us a bunch of things I haven't seen, but am told are awesome such as The West Wing, Studio 60, and the one show I did see, Sports Night. IMDB says it'll be a drama, but knowing the sense of humor in all of those shows we should get some snarky humor and sarcasm tossed in there too.
The real shocker is the director eyeballing this project, currently from a safe enough distance to escape before any sort of career devastation happens. The genius behind Fight Club and Ben Button, David Fincher, is the front runner for helming this. What?! Anyone else? Unless there's lots of dimly lit rooms, knife dildos, and severed heads strewn about the seedy story about the back alley birth of Facebook, then I don't want such a prolific director anywhere near this thing. Give it to some staffer at Happy Madison, not the director of Paula Abdul music videos....wait...what?
Oh well, maybe he's got it in him to make a NOT intense movie, but I doubt it. Head on over to Aaron Sorkin's Facebook Research Page and "show him what it's all about" AKA post links to weird porn on the wall.
