Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 10:40AMThe Gerard Butler/Jamie Foxx vehicle, Law Abiding Citizen, keeps looking better and better. As much as I want Gerard Butler to be doing nothing but burying spears in the chests of attacking Persians, seeing him control the lives of the people who have imprisoned him Hannibal Lecter style is almost as satisfying. And now we can watch Jamie Foxx try to be tough while Butler tells him "I'll kill everyone."
Law Abiding Citizen comes out next Friday, October 16th against the clear winner of the weekend Where the Wild Things Are. I'm hopeful that there will be a separate audience to give Butler his good opener, but WTWTA just looks so good that I won't be surprised if the target audience for LAC just went to that instead.

Be honest, the reason you want to see Butler stabbing spears into people is so you can look at him wearing nothing but a speedo and a cape, without feeling guilty. :P
I can't wait for this movie, though. I'll be seeing it first, over "Where the Wild Things Are". Not to say I don't want to see the latter. Just not first..
