Fall Movie Excitement! Afterschool

Release: October 2nd, Limited

So I don't have too much to say about Afterschool other than that I think it looks great. The story looks beyond intriguing based on the one trailer I've seen, the style looks artsy without being that annoying kind of artsy that by proxy makes you want to slit your wrist because of just how obviously the director wants to slit his own, and the giant words that pop up are all words that say to me "this is gonna be awesome".

It's about a displaced boy struggling to fit in at a rich prep school and is slowly driven out of his mind after he accidentally films the deaths of two girls in one of his school hallways. The smart thing for you to do is to go watch the TRAILER and then get excited for the movie. Everybody's doing it, come on.

The only downfall is that the movie has Rosemarie Dewitt in it, so I probably won't be seeing this with Kristin.
