Wes Anderson's first film Bottle Rocket is maybe my favorite of the bunch despite my general indifference to his work. Bottle Rocket is fun, smart, and charming and worth every second of your time.

The China Syndrome is a movie that I watched and then immediately regretted the last 25 years of my life where I wasn't watching it regularly. The movie reels you in with an intensity that is rarely found in film in these or any days. A true classic.

Too cool for school: Bullitt

Bullitt thrills in its one legendary car chase, but fails to keep up any sort of matched pace on foot. Slow and a little plodding, Bullitt doesn't make its way onto my list of favorites.
